The Direct Selling Association of Singapore (DSAS) was delighted to celebrate its 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner on 6 August 2026 at Orchard Hotel Singapore, marking five decades of promoting ethical direct selling practices and supporting the growth of the direct selling industry in Singapore.
We were honoured to welcome Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies, as our Guest of Honour. Minister Ong delivered an inspiring address and presented the DSAS Awards, recognising individuals and companies for their outstanding contributions to the industry.
We were also pleased to welcome Mr Melvin Yong, President of CASE, as our Special Guest. Mr Yong presented the CaseTrust Accreditation Recognition Awards to DSAS member companies that have attained CaseTrust accreditation, underscoring their commitment to ethical business practices and consumer protection.
A special highlight of the evening was the presence of Ms Shaila Manyam, Executive Director of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), together with Presidents and senior representatives from Direct Selling Associations across Asia. Their participation underscored the strong regional and international partnerships within the direct selling community and added significance to this milestone celebration.
The Gala Dinner provided an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the direct selling industry, recognise excellence, strengthen relationships, and reflect on the industry’s remarkable journey over the past 50 years.
DSAS would also like to express its sincere appreciation to the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), Singapore Tourism Board (STB), and Club Med for their valued support of this milestone event. Special recognition is also extended to our member companies, sponsors, and partners whose generous contributions helped make the celebration a memorable success.
